SPECIAL MESSAGE
Dear Church Family,
Per Bishop Anthony Taylor’s recent mandate to suspend all public masses and activities through April 30, I have come up with some alternative ideas to help care for our parishioners spiritual, emotional and safety needs as we do our part to practice social distancing.
So, listed below is my schedule for next week:
Sunday, March 22nd: Live stream Mass @ 12:00 pm via Facebook Live. This will be open to both St. Augustine and St. Bartholomew parishes as well as the public. Click here to connect to the St. Augustine’s Facebook page. Feel free to invite your friends.
Monday, March 23rd: Bible study @ 6:30 p.m. via Zoom, a remote conferencing service application that can be downloaded on any device such as a mobile phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer. It is very interactive as members can see each other and chat. Click here to set up a FREE zoom account. Use this link to join Bible study. Invite your family and friends too!
Wednesday, March 24th: Live stream Mass @ 6:00 pm via Facebook Live. This will be open to both St. Augustine and St. Bartholomew parishes as well as the public.
Thursday, March 25th: Live stream Mass @ 6:00 pm via Facebook Live. This will be open to both St. Augustine and St. Bartholomew parishes as well as the public.
We realize this may be new to some of our members, but it’s the best alternative as we do our part to help “flatten the curve” of this growing global crisis and support the well being of our members.
Additionally, several members of the Parish Pastoral Council and other leaders will be reaching out to you just to check in to see how you are doing. We can and will get through this with God on our side and the support from our church family. If you need any assistance, feel free to contact me at 501-442-6020, Mr. Rodney, the church administrator at 501-231-0887 or Mrs. Patty Ashford, parish pastoral council president at 501-612-0778.
God Bless and stay safe,
Rev. Leon Ngandu, SVD
Pastor
